Qualification Content
Aimed at individuals aged 18 and over, this qualification builds on existing therapy knowledge and skills, enhancing technical abilities and preparing students for employment in the beauty industry. Skills will be assessed in real or simulated work settings.
The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation is about using micropigmentation, a form of cosmetic tattooing to create make-up effects to enhance facial features. It covers the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment, tailored to suit individual client needs. You will prepare for and achieve a range of micropigmentation effects as well as providing the relevant aftercare. To carry out this treatment you will need to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene throughout your work
Course Details
Pre-requisites: You must have completed a Level 3 beauty related qualification prior to undertaking this qualification.
Duration: approx. 6 weeks (including practical sessions, online learning, and home study)
Models: Arranged by the training provider
Certification: Awarded upon successful completion of the course
Included: Training manual, registration fees, tutor support, and ongoing support

Assessments are only applicable if you are taking a 'Classroom Course'. There is a 'in-person' assessment that is carried out by the tutor you are learning with.
We are based in Tonbridge, Kent, TN92RN, UK . If this is out of your reach we offer virtual and online courses for you to be able to still upskill and elevate your beauty skills and knowledge.
We are located just opposite Tonbridge train station, which boasts mainline connections to both London and Ashford International.
We do not offer course kits included in the course price. However, after your course, you can purchase one of our course kits for you to train with outside of our premises.

Yes. All classroom courses require you to practice on a live model under the supervision of an experienced tutor. We sell model slots via our website offering the treatment at a discounted rate for all our classroom courses. If you know someone that would like to model, please let us know and we can book them in. For our Virtual Distant Learning courses you will need to provide a model on the day of your course.
Once you have purchased the course, one of our tutors will send an email to you with all the step by step instructions on how to log on to our zoom account and all the Username and Password instructions, ready for your live course date, however your online theory is available to start immediately.
