The gel polish course consists of Online Theory available to start immediately on purchase, which includes in depth anatomy and subject knowledge plus a Video Demonstration, then on a suitable date the student will attend a tutor led classroom session at any Hampson Training Academy for 4 Hours which involves in depth practical with the tutor demonstrating the gel polish treatment on a live model, leading on to the student performing the same treatment on a live model under close supervision of the tutor, there is time throughout the practical session for any questions with their answers and any troubleshooting.

Are there any assessments?
Assessments are only applicable if you are taking a 'Classroom Course'. There is a 'in-person' assessment that is carried out by the tutor you are learning with.
Where are we based?
We are based in Tonbridge, Kent, TN92RN, UK . If this is out of your reach we offer virtual and online courses for you to be able to still upskill and elevate your beauty skills and knowledge.
We are located just opposite Tonbridge train station, which boasts mainline connections to both London and Ashford International.
Will I be given a course kit to train with?
We do not offer course kits included in the course price. However, after your course, you can purchase one of our course kits for you to train with outside of our premises.

YES! All of are courses are accredited by ABT Accreditation and Course Accreditation. Both of these are worldwide recognised accreditation bodies and taking our accredited courses gives you a better chance to get insured upon course completion. Do I receive a certificate at the end of my course?
Yes , you will receive a digital certificate and if you wish for a hard copy you can purchase these on our website.
What will my qualification be?
You will be FULLY QUALIFIED to perform the treatment you learnt. To prove this, you will receive a recognised accredited certificate. This will gain you the necessary insurance to be able to start treating customers. Hampson Training Academy are affiliated with Finch Insurance and you can get a quote for insurance. Please see our insurance page for more information on getting insured.
Will I be practicing on live models?
Yes. All classroom courses require you to practice on a live model under the supervision of an experienced tutor. We sell model slots via our website offering the treatment at a discounted rate for all our classroom courses. If you know someone that would like to model, please let us know and we can book them in. For our Virtual Distant Learning courses you will need to provide a model on the day of your course.
How do I log on for My Live Virtual Distance Learning (If Applicable)?
Once you have purchased the course, one of our tutors will send an email to you with all the step by step instructions on how to log on to our zoom account and all the Username and Password instructions, ready for your live course date, however your online theory is available to start immediately.

Our accredited academy provides future beauty technicians with top-level training that will give them the skills they need to start or advance their careers. Whilst also providing you th a flexible way of learning to fit around your busy schedule. Whether you are looking to dip your toe in with an entry-level course or require something more advanced, we’ll be sure to have the course for you.
Each course goes beyond just the treatments themselves and will cover first aid, health and safety, hygiene, anatomy, and physiology. We offer courses that are both classroom-based and streamed virtually with an experienced tutor. Our academy is based in Tonbridge, with more to open around the South East in 2022. The virtual Distance Learning platform we use at Hampson Training is Zoom.

During your training you are able to join our active Facebook Support Group, in order to receive feedback and advise from other students. In addition, you can gain insight from our trainers regarding the work you are doing. If you would like support before, during or after your course, we have a 24hour live chat available on our website for you to send any enquiries through to us.
